This is an inter-departmental service centre of the University of L’Aquila. The main aim is to provide scientific assistance to departments active in the field of microscopy while also offering service in this area to local, national and international productive, scientific and teaching institutions.

The Centre can therefore stipulate agreements and collaborations with scientific structure inside and outside our University in order to expand the branch of services that can be offered and to enhance cultural promotion of the University.

The Centre is structured into two sections, dedicated to different research sectors:

Medical-biological sector
Science of materials sector
