The Listening and Consultation Service for Students (SACS), founded in 1991, aims to support and help students enrolled at the University of L'Aquila experiencing emotional difficulties due, for example, to academic failure or psychological distress.
The SACS is free for all students and counts on a multi-professional staff's expertise.
To book a consultation, you need to send a request:
a) writing to servizio.sacs@univaq.it, using your institutional address (name.surnamne@student.univaq.it), specifying your name, surname, and course of study
b) calling the numbers + 39 0862 433416 - +39 0862 433403 (from Monday to Thursday 11 a.m.- 1 p.m; 3-5 pm).
The SACS provides “face-to-face” consultation, but there is also the possibility of carrying out online individual interviews via a protected digital platform. This possibility will be arranged and organized with the professional.
The contents of the interviews are confidential and protected by professional secrecy. The European General Data Protection Regulation (2016/679) also provides total confidentiality of health data.
The SACS requires the commitment to participate in the planned consultations and to inform in advance of any difficulties in participating. The reserved individual interviews cannot be recovered if the absence is not communicated. The support activities will be interrupted after two no-shows consultations at least three days in advance.
